The founder, Diqing "Vincent" Yu, holds a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee, and an LLB from East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Zhejiang University and is currently pursuing a Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Vincent's professional journey includes tenure at King & Wood Mallesons, a leading firm in the Asia-Oceana region, specializing in IP law. He also served as the Global IP Counsel at General Motors for three and a half years, overseeing all IP matters, particularly licensing deals and R&D projects. He also worked at a US litigation firm.
Vincent's expertise extends across IP application, enforcement, and consulting in various industries, including chemical, retail, fashion, media, entertainment, semiconductor, software, and internet.
He is admitted to the PRC bar in China, the NY Bar in the US, and the Patent Bar in China.
Beyond legal expertise, Vincent is a skilled website designer and software developer proficient in HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator. His passion for technology and design further enriches our offerings.
